An automated print-on-demand shop on Etsy runs on software that does the repeat work: niche research, original designs, mockups, listings and paced publishing, while Printify prints and ships each order. PrintShark connects to your own Etsy shop and Printify account and runs that cycle on the schedule you set.
Pick a plan, then three setup steps connect your shop. After that, PrintShark runs the whole cycle on the schedule you set, as often as every day: research, design, mockups, listings, paced publishing and social posts. You decide whether listings wait for your approval or go straight to the publish queue.
Sign up and choose a plan (or pay-as-you-go) through Stripe checkout first. Then:
Authorize your Etsy shop on etsy.com (PrintShark never sees your Etsy password) and paste your Printify API key. Nothing to install.
Choose the blank products to sell and how many listings each run makes. Set up to five shop themes, or none and let PrintShark find openings on its own.
Choose how often it runs (every 1 to 30 days) and at what time, then turn the schedule on. Or click Run Once Now.

Eight stages, start to finish. In the default mode the run stops at a finished draft for your approval. In publish-queue mode it goes all the way to Etsy. Stage 7 is on Pro and Studio.
Analyzes market demand to find niches with strong buyer interest and room to compete, drills into the sub-niches inside your chosen themes, and gives each one a 0-100 opportunity score.
Writes a brief for each niche it picks and generates original, print-ready artwork in the visual style that already sells there.
An AI vision check scores every design for spelling, artifacts and appeal. A design that fails is regenerated with the judge's notes, up to three renders in total, or dropped.
A title under Etsy's 140-character limit, a description and all 13 tags, built from the keywords and tags the niche research found.
Generates an AI mockup of each product staged for its niche, then inspects it against your design. You can add more scenes from the product card with credits.
Approved drafts (or every listing, in publish-queue mode) go through a drip-feed queue: 5 a day by default (adjustable 1 to 20), released between 8 AM and 10 PM in your time zone, never dumped all at once. Here's why that listing pace matters on Etsy.
On Pro and Studio, SocialShark adds the new product to a planned week of Facebook and Instagram posts, with Pinterest rolling out.
Records views and favorites daily. Once your shop has 50 published listings, your Dashboard flags any stuck under 5 views. On Pro and Studio, winners keep circulating on social.
Weeks ahead, not days. Seasonal trends is on by default. Each holiday on PrintShark's built-in calendar opens a few weeks before the date, gets its strongest push 4 to 6 weeks out, and is dropped once fewer than 10 days remain, because print-on-demand production plus shipping cannot reliably arrive in time after that.
| Days before the holiday | What seasonal mode does | Christmas 2026 example |
|---|---|---|
| Before the event's window opens | No push for that holiday yet | Until October 29 |
| 43 days or more (inside the window) | Early push: niches tied to the holiday get a moderate score boost | October 30 to November 12 |
| 28 to 42 days | Prime time: the strongest boost of the cycle | November 13 to November 27 |
| 14 to 27 days | Late push: moderate boost again | November 28 to December 11 |
| 10 to 13 days | Final call: a small boost only | December 12 to December 15 |
| Under 10 days | No new designs for that holiday | From December 16 |
Window lengths differ by event: Christmas opens 8 weeks out, a smaller holiday may open only 3 weeks out. The dates are design dates. Finished listings still go through your publish queue (up to 5 a day by default), so a holiday batch needs room on both ends. Turn Seasonal trends off on Autopilot > Configure if your shop is evergreen only. For pacing a seasonal batch, see how many listings per day to publish.
You decide how hands-off to be. By default, every finished listing waits as a draft on your Dashboard, and nothing goes to Etsy until you click Publish to Etsy. When you trust the output, switch to the publish queue and each run handles everything end to end. Either way, listings release at a steady pace, never in a burst.
See every new design before it goes live, not after.
Publish to Etsy sends a listing to the queue for its next release slot.
Pass on anything that's not right for your shop.
You're still the seller. Etsy's Creativity Standards require you to disclose AI use in the listing description and to disclose your production partner (Printify, for PrintShark shops). PrintShark is designed so you can meet those rules; review each listing's disclosures in Etsy. Our guide to Etsy's AI policy covers the details. Last verified: October 1, 2026.
